LONGTAIDI PIPE TECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd professionally introduces that stainless steel flanges are parts that connect pipes to pipes, and are connected to pipe ends. There are holes in the flange, and the bolts tightly connect the two flanges. After the stainless steel flange has been used for a period of time, some dirt will appear, so how do we generally need to remove rust? What rust removal tools are there to use?
The rust removal tools for stainless steel flanges are specifically introduced as follows:
1. Rust Hammer
Also called shovel hammer, usually there are blades at two ends, one end is “one” and the other end is “│”. There is also a pointed hammer with a pointed end, which is used to remove rust in deep depressions.
2. Blade
The length of the blade is about 50~100cm, made of wooden handle or hollow steel pipe, and the width of the blade is 40mm~20cm, made of carbon steel or tungsten steel. Mainly used to remove rust, scale, old coatings and dirt from flat surfaces.
3. Scraper
Commonly known as “scraping planer”, one end is flat, the other is curved, and both ends are edged. It is made of carbon steel and is about 20cm long. A pointed scraper, with a pointed end at the elbow, is used to remove dirt such as rust and putty in the crevices.
4. File
There are various shapes such as flat and triangular and are mainly used to remove protruding hard objects such as welding slag.
5. Wire brush
It is divided into a long handle and a short handle, and the end face of the brush is strung with thin steel wire, which is used to remove the rust and residue left by scraping with other tools; another kind of steel wire bundle with steel wire at both ends is used for gaps and hole parts.
All of us need to have the above tools when derusting stainless steel flanges, which can be of great help to us in derusting.
Longtaidi has professional technical team and equipment to deal with not only derusting, but also any other problems in the installation of pipeline
