Selection of gas storage tank
The function of the air storage tank in the air compression system is: buffer, make the air supply more stable, and reduce the frequent start of the air compressor. At the same time, letting the compressed air settle in the air storage tank is more conducive to water and pollution removal.
The volume of the gas storage tank should be between 10% and 20% of the displacement of the compressor. We generally choose 15%. When the gas consumption is large, the volume of the gas storage tank should be increased appropriately. When the air volume is small, it can be lower than 15%, preferably not lower than 10%.
The processing capacity of the dryer and filter should be consistent with the discharge capacity of the compressor.
The filter before the dryer should be equipped with an automatic drain.
When using an adsorption dryer, the compressor should reserve the corresponding gas consumption.
The dryer is installed behind the gas storage tank, and the gas storage tank can fully reflect the function of buffering, cooling and sewage discharge, which can reduce the load of the dryer and be used in the working condition of the system with more uniform gas supply. The dryer is installed before the gas storage tank, and the system can provide a large peak adjustment capability, which is mostly used in working conditions with large fluctuations in gas consumption.
Gas storage tank purchase requirements
First of all, you should choose products from large enterprises and well-known brands.
The products of these enterprises not only strictly implement the GB150-2011 “Steel Pressure Vessel” standard, but also form their own enterprise standards. At the same time, these enterprises have advanced production equipment, strict production process management, and good quality raw materials. Although the prices of the products of these companies may be relatively expensive, they can guarantee the products when using them, so you can use them with confidence. In addition, products produced by enterprises that have passed various quality system certifications are also the first choice.
The second is to look at the appearance.
The appearance of the product reflects its grade and value. The trademark of a high-quality gas storage tank is very obvious, and the brand of the gas storage tank can be clearly known 50 meters away from the gas storage tank. Approaching the gas storage tank, the tank body itself is bright in color, uniform in surface treatment, smooth in weld seam, and clear in line, so it is best to buy a newly produced product.
The third is to look at the product nameplate.
On the nameplate, the name and production date of the manufacturer and supervisory inspection unit should be indicated, and whether there is a seal of the supervisory inspection unit on the upper right corner of the nameplate, and the product number, weight, volume, and bearing capacity must be indicated on the nameplate. The maximum pressure, working pressure and pressure of the hydrostatic test also need to indicate the medium of the gas storage tank. There must be a stamped number of the product directly under the nameplate of the entire tank, and the stamp number must be consistent with the number on the nameplate. If It is found that the two numbers are inconsistent, it is best not to buy.
The fourth is to look at the quality assurance certificate.
According to relevant national regulations, each gas storage tank must be equipped with a quality assurance certificate before leaving the factory. The quality assurance certificate is an important certificate to prove that the gas storage tank is qualified. It is safe to use, please do not buy it.
The fifth is to look at the qualifications of manufacturing companies.
A powerful brand-name enterprise possesses qualifications and honors that cannot be compared with ordinary enterprises. Although some small enterprises have a pressure vessel manufacturing license, the overall equipment is outdated and the management is not very standardized. The gas storage tanks produced are likely to have potential safety hazards. All aspects of the qualifications of the enterprise, so as to avoid unnecessary troubles.
